E- Teaching & leaning services:

Expending access to internet & usage of ICTs for service Learning & Teaching by healthcare and social assistance association in Burundi is very important! The e-volunteering opportunity & university branch registration programme attract worldwide PH.D professionals & researcher mentors to coach university & college students in developing countries. The application of internet and technologies in e-teaching and learning program will enhance capacity, skills and knowledge of local, national, regional and international students, volunteers and researchers including MEDICAL DOCTORS, PROFESSORS, TEACHERS, JOURNALISTS, IT EXPRTS, PROGRAMMER AND APPLICATIONS DEVELOPERS who further teach & research in Africa within areas of arts, telecommunications, ICTs policy and internet network for the improved child & women health care services, positive change and socio-economic development among the vulnerable and for the improved access to ICTs technologies and internet network in the NGOs & adoption of electronic wireless health records, medical decision support systems, medical devices and solutions for clinical care providers and cost effective systems and solutions for health and home care delivery.

Recruitment of teachers, medical doctors and IT expert that use internet & ICTs for saving life in developing countries as volunteers is one of the approaches that lead to more results for our not profit, including but not limited the Medical Doctors Board, Nurses and IT expert who advises on how to link with Medical Centres, Medical Companies and not profit Funds, as well as State and Federal agencies, for the promotion and financial support of healthcare technologies and seed ideas. They also provides guidance on financing strategies for funding of wireless healthcare technologies for both start-ups and long term interventions or services. At list 20 professors and programmers or IT experts will join and help.

B) Reduce fees of communication using mobile phone and internet and other ICTs by nurses, medical doctors, teachers and researchers in public health and economic development among the vulnerable groups (children, youth and women) in Burundi and developing countries:

The development of mobile VoIP & SMS application will help to reduce expenses of communication for the e-volunteers who use mobile phone, or our web or technologies to connect to internet in e-teaching & learning services for health & development. The VoIP & SMS application will also help to reduce expenses of information and communication for the local nurses, doctors, who work for saving life, healthcare, positive change and economic development by involving the vulnerable in partnership and close collaboration with our network. The functionalities of such application will help us to respond a need of MEDICAL EXPERT, IT & Computer programmers, software developer of mobile application, set up software, a VoIP call & SMS application. The options such as import contacts, design a course, add your logo, add school event, advertise employment opportunity, add news about call for entry and grant will stimulate millions of supporters worldwide to join, import contacts, investigate in lifesaving, teach design medical course, healthcare services and use ICTs and consume internet toward:

-The digital divide gaps solutions and achievement of MDGs before 2015,

-To improve rates of ICTs graduates & telecommunications human resources in association for healthcare and for economic development among the vulnerable children, orphans and women.

-Toward programming the VoIP & SMS application in healthcare association of Burundi for the reduced higher rates of children and women morbidity and mortality, the cost for the internet services and ICTs in rural areas health & educational and preventive groups, individuals and associations and bring relief & humanitarian services opportunities that people and community ever needed since past decades, today, tomorrow and forever using Internet & ICTs in health & education domains.

There is an urgent attention to support this program because there is shortage of universities and research institution in rural areas and local communities of Burundi. Otherwise the subscription to university and college courses or curriculum in Africa or Burundi is high cost, vulnerable orphans, women, and physically and or mentally handicapped persons and students cannot afford to pay school tuition fees to pursue their grades of Bachelor, Master and Doctorate’s Degrees or they may be can’t find the desired faculties and curriculums in the existing institutes and universities. That’s why in Burundi and in other countries of Africa there are higher rates of university and college school dropout and this program need more supporters, sponsors and partners. The programme was developed for the students in Burundi who can not afford to pay for their college and university studies from bachelor, master and doctorate’s degree. These include orphans; HI/VIADS affected and infected people, handicaps, and refugees, Diaspora, migrants, women and the vulnerable students in Burundi and in developing countries.

I. Priorities & scholarships:


1. Burundi

In 2011, the association ASASS-BURUNDI is planning to launch the e-courses for local students from all administration provinces of the Republic of Burundi. 107 students have applied for the certificate courses. Among the 107 students, 70 applicants submitted demand of scholarships because they can not find 87 USD per each student for the courses and services detailed like this:

a)$ 10 for course materials

b)$ 10 maintenance of school equipments

c)$ 10 facilitation of contacts with professor

d)$ 60 payment of the rented training room

e)$ 7 to design and print a Diploma/ Certificate


2. 2011 Scholarships needs:

Total needed for each student is: 87 USD. Total number of students who need scholarships is 70 students. Support ASASS-BURUNDI training & research project: University branch Registration-JEANCKA certificate Programme for undergraduate students of Burundi.


ASASS-BURUNDI would like to offer scholarships to 70 university & college students in last class and those who stopped their studies but desire to join and learn but they don’t have parents, tutors to pay for them the school fees. Donate or sponsor us with the total fund of 6090 USD and 410 USD (total is 6500 USD) for involving them in researches. If we receive the sponsors, scholarships or donations we will be able to make the course free of charge in this kind which is less expensive for supporters and students. 70 students in Burundi this year 2011 will be awarded with a certificate. Do it to help the Republic of Burundi find human resources in public health and telecommunications domains for lifesaving, positive change and economic development.


3.2011 IT expert, software developer and computer sciences, programming needs:

We need a new domain name to host a website for e-government services including VoIP & SMS services for healthcare purpose. But we will continue to use the granted technologies by our partners including moodle technologies for training or capacity building services. We need also the programmers, software developer and web site designer experts, the PH.D and Lecturer teachers in medicine, the beginners in Information Technologies- introduction to computer sciences, programming using java.
